He said this while delivering a speech as a Guest Speaker at the Vice Chancellor’s Business Innovation Awards 2020 on Thursday, November 26, 2020.He revealed that “the partnership will see the University benefit from the TechGulf Digital Vault initiative allowing the University to acquire a long-term data storage solution for its operations.”“The University will also benefit from this partnership by securing a spot for an internship for a year with TechGulf for its most outstanding technology student entrepreneur,” he added.

The CEO reiterated his commitment to advancing digital entrepreneurship hinges on five pillars, namely, education and training policy, access to funding, tax and regulation, supportive culture, and coordinated support.He further called on the Government and the business community to foster a keen interest in creating Technology parks to enhance connectivity to assist in Research and Development for digital innovation.

On his part, the  Pro-Vice-Chancellor of UDS, Professor Felix Abagale expressed his profound gratitude to the CEO of TechGulf for his passionate appeal for support to the University for Digital Innovation and opportunity and also to collaborate with the University to facilitate development strategies, technological support, the intent to help develop the capacity of students.In addition, he mentioned that a collaborative effort between the staff and students will be established to embark on the necessary Research, Development, and Innovative strategies, that will explore ways to leverage and improve upon the use of the technology acquired by the University.
